The old saying, “It takes a village to raise a child,” is certainly true, especially when it comes to raising children to know and love God. While we know that you are doing your best to teach your kids about Jesus, we want to reinforce everything you’re doing at home by having other adult followers of Jesus invest in the spiritual lives of your little ones. It would be our great honor to have you and your children be a part of our Children’s Ministry!
Wednesday Evening Children’s Activities
During the school year, everyone is invited to the dinners we host on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm. Following the meal, children in preschool through 5th/6th grade are invited to participate in the children’s programs that take place from 6:45 – 8:00 pm. Here’s a list of the activities we offer:
Cubbies (Ages 3-5)
Preschool aged children are invited to participate in Cubbies, an Awana program that exposes them to God through games and Bible stories.
GemSeekers (Girls K-6th)
Elementary aged girls are invited to participate in GemSeekers, a program that teaches girls about God through interactive learning and small group discussion.
SkyWatchers (Boys K-6th)
Elementary aged boys are invited to participate in SkyWatchers, a program that teaches boys about God through interactive learning and small group discussion.
Sunday Morning Children’s Activities
Nursery (Ages 0-3)
If you would like to drop off your nursery aged children prior to worship, stop by our check-in station in the lobby before taking them to to be supervised by our background checked volunteers in the nursery. Children can be picked up immediately after the worship service.
KidZone (Preschool – 5th)
If your kids would like to participate in KidZone during the worship service, please visit our check-in station in the lobby. They will be dismissed during the “Connect Time” and can be taken to the education wing where background checked volunteers will share a Bible lesson with them. They can be picked up at the end of worship.
