Pataskala Grace Church exists to share our hope in Jesus as we passionately pursue Him.
Values
TRANSFORMATIONAL TRUTH
We believe that God is truth and that His truth is revealed in Scripture, which explains reality. God’s truth is manifested in His Son, Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). When one genuinely accepts this truth, their life will be both immediately and continually changed by the Holy Spirit.
CONTAGIOUS HOPE
Our hope in life and death is in Jesus Christ our Lord, who offers us the free gift of salvation and everlasting life through faith in Him. This hope fills us with such joy and peace (Rom. 15:13) that others take notice and seek to know more about what makes us different from the world. We want our hope in Christ to abound in such a way that it spreads and affects others.
GRACEFUL AUTHENTICITY
As we passionately pursue Jesus, we want to bear one another’s burdens (Gal. 6:2). Doing so requires that we avoid the temptation to keep our true selves hidden out of fear of what others might think. As we humbly expose our failures and imperfections, we will seek to restore one another with gentleness and compassion, never forgetting that we are all sinners in need of the grace offered through Christ (Gal. 6:1).
INTENTIONAL HOSPITALITY
In an effort to share our hope with others, we seek to make strangers feel loved and welcomed (Heb. 13:2) not only in our church, but also in our lives. We want to be intentional about developing relationships with those outside our church so they might be adopted into God’s family and into the family that is Pataskala Grace Church.
MISSIONAL TEAMWORK
We work together as a team of uniquely gifted and talented people in an effort to fulfill God’s purpose (1 Cor. 12). While we might serve the church in a variety of ways, we are all indispensable and vitally important to our church’s success. At Pataskala Grace Church, we are all active participants.
