The Lies We Love

In Ezekiel 12–14, God confronts a people who have grown more comfortable with lies than with truth. They ignore His warnings, listen to voices that reinforce what they already want, hide idols in their hearts, and assume someone else’s righteousness will be enough to save them. This message challenges us to recognize the warnings we would rather reject, resist the voices that reinforce our desires, remove the idols that rule our hearts, and reject righteous substitutes so we can rely only on Christ. God’s truth may confront us, but it is always meant to lead us away from destruction and back to life.
